Dallas motorized shades and daylight control
Motorized Window Shades
Manage glare, privacy, views, heat, and daylight with quiet shades designed around the windows and interiors.
Purpose-built systems
Design the experience before choosing equipment.
Motorized shades are architectural products as much as technology products. Kelltech Systems coordinates shade type, fabric openness, color, hembar, fascia, pocket, power, control wiring, window dimensions, mounting conditions, and automation with homeowners, interior designers, builders, electricians, and window-treatment partners.
We verify each opening, identify shade roll direction and mounting constraints, coordinate electrical or low-voltage power, review fabric performance, and confirm how shades should be grouped and controlled. Large or unusually shaped windows may require engineering review, mockups, or specialty hardware. The result should look intentional when shades are both open and closed.
- Roller, roman, drapery, and specialty applications
- Wired and selected battery-powered options
- Pocket, fascia, and recessed-detail coordination
- Daylight, schedule, keypad, and app control
- Grouping by room, elevation, or solar exposure
- Integration with lighting scenes and whole-home automation
Practical outcomes
Technology that improves the space—not just the equipment list.
Protect comfort and views
Reduce glare and heat while preserving the view when conditions allow.
Improve privacy
Coordinate privacy scenes by room, time, and occupancy.
Finish the architecture
Plan pockets, power, and mounting details before construction closes walls.

A coordinated delivery process
One plan from discovery through long-term service.
Kelltech Systems begins with site conditions, user expectations, operational requirements, and the systems already in place. We identify infrastructure, power, network, equipment-location, interface, and support decisions before installation begins.
During delivery, our team coordinates with owners, facilities personnel, builders, architects, designers, electricians, IT teams, and specialty contractors. Programming and commissioning focus on repeatable everyday operation rather than a demonstration that only works on turnover day.
At completion, we test the intended workflows, train users, document important settings and equipment, and establish a service path. Existing systems can also be assessed, repaired, modernized, or expanded in phases when a complete replacement is unnecessary.
Planning questions
Frequently asked questions
Should motorized shades be wired or battery powered?
Wired power is generally preferred in new construction and large projects because it reduces battery maintenance. Battery-powered shades can be useful in selected retrofit conditions where wiring access is limited.
Can shades respond automatically to sunlight?
Yes. Depending on the control platform, shades can follow schedules, astronomical time, sensors, scenes, or manual commands. We balance automation with predictable homeowner control.
Do you supply shade fabric?
Shade projects can include fabric and hardware selections coordinated with the design team. Availability depends on the selected manufacturer, application, dimensions, and performance requirements.
